Aerobic Workout

Nothing - absolutely nothing - burns calories faster than aerobic exercises. Jogging, walking, swimming, cycling, even a promenade are natural enemies of fat pads. These are activities an overweight most likely doesn´t love.

But experts agree, that its hard to lose weight just by altering nutrition. For successfully losing weight it´s not necessary to do the workouts until you are completely exhausted. Besides the obvious effects on the cardiovascular system aerobic exercises accelerate the metabolism. And an accelerated metabolism burns more calories and fat.

According to experts it´s advantageous to do a workout 3 - 5 times a week 1 - 1.5 hours each with a pulse rate of 60% to 90% of the maximum pulse rate. You calculate the maximum pulse rate if you subtract your age from 220.

Example:
You are 30 years old. Your maximum puls rate is 220-30=190
60% of 190 is 190x0.6=114
90% of 190 is 190x0.9=171

If you have a pulse rate between 114 and 171 during your workout your body burns fat best and this way you can lose weight fast.

A beginner tends to work harder than necessary. So you should control your pulse rate with the help of a pulse watch until you get a feeling for the right interval. Most pulse watches can calculate the calories that were burnt during the exercise. This can be an additional motivation. Just try it.

If you haven´t done any sport yet you´ll most likely have a pulse rate of 130 if you promenade a little bit faster than usual. It´s useless to run for two hours until you are completely worn out and you have to rest for two weeks to be able to move without pain. Its important that you consequently do something on a regular basis. Use common sense...
